A Short Note

So I just moved back to Florida and am still feeling pretty tired. Thus, this first post probably won't be that long. I just wanted to write a brief update for those who kept up with my blog on myspace:

1) Obviously, I 'm moving my blog off myspace and onto blogger--for many reasons really. The main reason being that blogs and blog readers on myspace seem to be a dying breed. I will still post blogs/bulletins on myspace whenever I updated this blog, though.

2) As stated earlier, I moved back to Florida from Oxford, MS--which of course means I graduated as a newly minted MFA from the University of Mississippi. I will be staying in Florida for about a month and then will be going to work abroad in Ireland for 5 months...

3) ...which leads to this new blog. It's primarily going to be a blog dedicated to Ireland, so I'm going to update this as much as I can while in Ireland. In the meantime (and most likely while I'm in Ireland), I'll still be keeping up my "music blog." Hopefully, I'll be able to share whatever Irish music experiences I have on this blog. We'll see when I actually get there.
